(Video) Hack: Camtasia Recorder endless loop when opening a program as an administrator

This is a hack suggested by support. I would not call it a solution as you still need to edit out the ‘pause’ but at least there is no loop that goes on forever.

I once recorded 15 minutes, installing some VMs, and had sent the video to the editor that noticed that the loop started at 1 min and I had only 1 min usable content. Frustrating!

I’ve been able to reproduce the problem on different devices, before and after various Windows 8 updates. If you know of a better solution, please let me know.
